The cooperation with the Italian International Nursery and Kindergarten allowed the founders to complete the educational mission of the GuWei Museum.

The Italian International Nursery and Kindergarten,  also established under the Sapientia Foundation, is located in the founders’ premises in South Horizons, facing the seaside and with a beautiful environment. It is a good place for children to enjoy the campus life.

The Italian International Nursery and Kindergarten motto is “Tradition, Research and Innovation”. Based on an understanding of pedagogy and neuroscience concepts, the school values children’s right to receive a quality education, respects the individual needs of each child and family, values different cultures and traditions, and uses flexible methods to help children construct learning experiences.

Based on the educational experience of the School, we hope that children and families who come to the Museum to visit the exhibition can enjoy educational activities inspired by the cultural stories of the collection.

We will arrange guided tours, storytelling activities, and workshops according to their age groups in cooperation with other schools and educational institutions across Hong Kong.

“The establishment of the IIN&IIKG has given us the possibility to meet our desire to contribute socially by investing in a long-term early childhood quality education project that caters to local, Italian and international families, bridges the Italian culture, and the Chinese culture in Hong Kong, a truly international city.”

Franco Cutrupia, Founder and School Supervisor

“With a School, there is more future! With a School, the future is brighter!”

IIKG Children’s Club

We believe education is never-ending, especially for students who have just completed early childhood education and whose learning journey has just begun.

The IIKG Children’s Club welcomes all the children who graduated from the Italian International Nursery and Kindergarten until they are 12 years old. Based on the educational experience of our School and the activities inspired by the artworks from the Sapientia Collection, the Club promotes art and cultural activities for children and their families.
