Coffee Shop

Design Idea

There are beautiful hill views in the coffee shop. Collections not displayed in the exhibition area are shown here, enriching and enhancing the visitors’ overall experience.

Many traditional and emerging museums around the world have restaurants attached. The coffee shop aims to be a destination in itself. Visitors can relax, and enjoy an opportunity for social interactions during their private time when visiting museums and participating in activities.

The entire catering and leisure exhibition hall is decorated with collections arranged in different types, colours and shapes, infusing the whole area with a contemporary European design feeling. The coffee shop offers various types of Italian coffee drinks such as "caffe' marocchino", "caffe' affogato" and "caffe' leccese" on its menu. Visitors will experience the Italian coffee culture.

THE COFFEE SHOP IS LOCATED AT THE NORTHEAST CORNER OF THE MUSEUM FLOOR, COVERING AN AREA OF ABOUT 75 SQUARE METERS AND OVERLOOKING THE PANORAMIC VIEW OF ABERDEEN RESERVOIR.
Signature tableware
The coffee shop has its unique tableware, including espresso cups, mugs and teapots with collectable patterns. Visitors can buy it in the coffee shop and the gift corner if they like it.
