GuWei Kids

Kids and families

The GuWei Museum has so much to offer kids and their families. Visit and learn during fun, interactive programmes for kids of all ages and their parents or caregivers.

The educational space combines traditional learning materials and art tools with modern technology, such as smart boards and touch screen displays with interactive software showcasing the items in the collection.

When visiting the GuWei Museum, children can enjoy participating in spontaneous cultural activities, such as drawing in the kid’s art corner. The GuWei Museum will cooperate with primary and secondary schools to promote education, share cultural and artistic knowledge with students, and the cultural significance behind the inheritance of cultural relics, cultivate students’ aesthetic education, and encourage moral growth.

The GuWei Museum’s proposed activities make space for parent-child learning and interaction, in addition to cultivating the children’s aesthetic education and visual literacy.

The GuWei Museum designs extra-curricular teaching materials, such as colouring books based on regularly exhibited themes to provide learning experiences. The related interpretation of the exhibits' QR codes and thematic seminars and lectures will also benefit parents and students in terms of knowledge and mutual relations.
